Evangelist Penny Butler is a humble yet powerful vessel of God whose mission is to edify, uplift, and guide souls into their God-given purpose. Spirit-led, compassionate, and purpose-driven, she carries a unique blend of spiritual depth, creative insight, and practical wisdom that strengthens believers and builds the Kingdom with excellence.

Her ministry journey began at Emmanuel Assembly Church of the PAW, Inc., where she was baptized in Jesus’ name, filled with the Holy Ghost, and later called into the ministry. She served faithfully in roles that nurtured spiritual growth, empowered youth, and expanded ministry through creative and digital initiatives.

God later transitioned her to Greater Morning Star Apostolic Ministries under Bishop Charles E. Johnson, where her leadership and administrative gifts flourished. There she contributed to ministerial training, youth development, technology education, and community outreach, helping bridge generations and advance visionary programs.

​

In 2024, after a season of prayerful transition, she and her husband, Pastor Edgar Butler Sr., launched a new ministry assignment. This work honors their foundations while embracing the fresh mandate God has entrusted to them: to build a Christ-centered, Spirit-led ministry that uplifts families, strengthens believers, and impacts the community through love, truth, and biblical teaching.

Evangelist Butler brings training in Biblical Studies, Digital Media, Technology, Program Management, and Data Analytics. This combination uniquely positions her to equip ministries and individuals to grow spiritually and thrive practically.

 

She has been married for more than thirty years to Pastor Edgar Butler Sr. Together, they serve as a unified and visionary ministry team. They are blessed with two sons, Edgar Jr. and Joseph, and give God all glory for His faithfulness.
